First of all, I love your podcast.
Secondly, I agree with you on the ‘people are too harsh on Charlotte’ front in Princess and the frog. I actually have a theory that Lottie has tried to give Tiana the money to buy the restaurant several times, but Tiana was too proud to accept charity, so Lottie finally found a way of getting the money to Tiana- through the only way she would accept it, hiring her talents as a chef. I have no way of knowing if it’s true or not, but it seems likely to me that Lottie and her father would have offered financial support to her friend in need before now. Just my take on things.

Looking forward to part 2! And I’ll definitely be looking to buy the ED Baker story.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the dedication you’ve shown in regards to highlighting Disney’s overly rose-tinted, hypocritical opinion of the time period the film is set in. You once again put in quite a lot of effort. Also, thanks for helping to bring the ED Baker novel to more attention.
